BENITEZ FELIPE MIRANDA, 1973, San Agustín Huapan, Guerrero, Mexico, indigenous people nestled in the mountains of Guerrero, found himself bathed in the river Balsas.

His current technique is learned through the years, from childhood in the presence and guidance of their parents, turn from their grandparents, at 12 flashes of his current job, gradually incorporating the color, detail of painting can be seen in various objects.

Returning to the family tradition of teaching self-taught in painting, Felipe and his wife (Lucina Arredondo) have joined their children (Oscar 12, 11 and Carlos Zayra 9 years) to the knowledge and appreciation of his paintings, showing also the family talent, without neglecting the educational aspect.

Without losing the techniques learned, Felipe has been incorporated into your work and acrylic paint on wooden figures of animals, crosses, paintings, frames, boxes, wooden chests, and other decorative objects.

Diversifying their artistic activity also carries out the design and painting murals in private homes, furniture decoration such as closets, screens, chests, dining rooms, bedrooms, and the development and design work required special.

In the preservation of the native language (Nahuatl), Philip shows an interest in preventing the loss of it, so it is the means of communication used with parents who are in Guerrero, as well as instill in their children the value Nahuatl as a means of family contact.

Referirnos a Felipe en el ámbito de la pintura y decoración con su técnica especializada, aprendida en casa como algo cotidiano desde su infancia, viviendo entre texturas de colores naturales que mezclados con la tierra roja y negra del entorno, así como la cera del mezquite se obtenía el color rojo natural para decorar y generar ante sus ojos la materialización de objetos de barro como ollas, figuras de animales de la granja familiar, técnica que actualmente utilizan sus padres.

La necesidad apremiante de generar ingresos familiares, surge la necesidad de salir a vender el producto elaborado en casa por la familia a la ciudad de Cuernavaca, como primer contacto con las comunidades urbanas.

Contando con 17 años llega a San Miguel de Allende en 1993, utilizando el conocimiento aprendido en casa en cuanto a la mezcla de texturas, de colores, así como la incorporación tanto en cuadros, con objetos de pasajes del entorno personal, de paisajes de su comunidad en su actuar cotidiano. Así su pintura se integra con el arte histórico que surge de su comunidad y pueblos circunvecinos, escenificando el campo, ganado, fiestas y tradiciones del pueblo, bodas, pesca en el rio y cosecha de alimento para el consumo de las familias.

Su técnica actual es aprendida a través de los años, desde la infancia ante la presencia y guía de sus padres, a su vez de sus abuelos, ya a los 12 años emite destellos de su trabajo actual, incorporando paulatinamente el colorido, detalle de su pintura que se aprecia en diversos objetos.

Retomando la costumbre familiar de la enseñanza autodidacta en la pintura, Felipe y su esposa (Lucina Arredondo) han incorporado a sus hijos (Oscar 12, Carlos 11 y Zayra 9 años) al conocimiento y apreciación de su pintura, mostrando también el talento familiar, sin descuidar el aspecto educativo.

Sin perder la técnica aprendida, Felipe ha ido incorporando a tu trabajo la pintura acrílica sobre figuras de madera de animales, cruces, cuadros, marcos, cajas, baúles de madera, entre otros objetos decorativos.

También diversificando su actividad artística lleva a cabo el diseño y pintura de murales en residencias particulares, decoración de muebles como roperos, biombos, cómodas, comedores, recamaras, así como la elaboración y diseño de trabajos especiales requeridos.

En la preservación de la lengua materna (náhuatl), Felipe muestra un interés en evitar la pérdida de la misma, por lo que es el medio de comunicación que utiliza con sus padres que en encuentran en Guerrero, así como inculcar a sus hijos lo valioso del náhuatl como medio de contacto familiar.
